Absolutely loving seeing country singer-songwriter and performing artist Emily Zeck wearing her YZ Collective shell bolo tie on stage. She looks absolutely amazing—and that shell bolo was made for this coastal cowgirl moment. @awheckitsemilyzeck 🧡🌊🐚🧡#yzcollective #coastalcowgirl #austin #shells by @yzcollective

Yesenia Zapata is a Texas-born artist and designer creating distinctive shell bolo ties that merge coastal elegance with modern Western style.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Yesenia has lived in Japan, Germany, Florida, and California and traveled throughout the world. Her experiences have shaped an appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, natural textures, and the effortless sophistication found in different cultures.

Her signature shell bolo ties began with a simple idea: she couldn’t find a piece that felt like her, so she created one. What began as a personal statement evolved into a collection of one-of-a-kind designs that transform natural shells into unexpected luxury accessories.

Based in the Texas Hill Country, Yesenia hand-selects and designs each piece, celebrating the individuality of every shell. Her work brings together the spirit of the coast, the character of Texas, and a distinctly personal sense of style. #yzcollective #austin #coastalcowgirl #jewelry #westernstyle by @yzcollective
