“Though I am fully grown up,
And am an adult,
Youngest, I will always remain,
Having anybody, to consult.
Nothing to care and worry,
Just like a free bird
To all my siblings,
I appear weird.”

This one was fun, Love you cousin!🤣❤️ @yzn.aj by @yzn.aj

💙MEMBER SPOTLIGHT🏁

AJ Watson ( @yzn.aj )
5’11 / 170
Concordia University - Nebraska (2019-2023)——>
Park University ‘24

AJ grew up in Kansas City, Kansas the youngest of four boys, he graduated from Bonner Springs High School (2019). After a standout senior year he received a full ride from Concordia University - Nebraska, where he would go on to have a very accomplished career. AJ amassed 677 points, 201 assists, 175 rebounds, and 84 steals in four seasons. During this stint with CUNE, Watson was a two-time GPAC Champion and helped pave the way to the 2021-22 NAIA National Championship Quarterfinals. In his final year before transferring to Park University AJ averaged a career best 9.9 points per game and shot 40.8% from the field in and became an 2022 Great Plains Athletic Conference Honorable Mention All-Conference award winner. After a personal decision to come back closer to home for his final year of college, AJ would transfer to Park University where he would go on to have an Second Team All Conference year averaging 15.4 ppg, 3 rpg, 4.2 apg, 2 spg, while shooting 44% from field goal range, and 38% from beyond the arc. AJ ended his career as a 1,000 point scorer in college which is a major accomplishment!

Last year was AJ’s first season in the Spence League Pro-Am, he helped lead his team to the SLPA23 Finals. An original member, AJ used the Spence League Runs and Pro-Am to sharpen his skills. His loyalty never waivers along with his passion for the game, which we deem VERY VALUABLE here on our platform. This year #TheLastWatson✨ will try to help take a rebranded SLPA Team TAKERS back to another SLPA Championship again for a chance at redemption and bragging rights for a year.
