I’m excited to announce that after 4 long and hard years, today I am graduating from THE illustrious Howard University🤩

Graduating Magna Cum Laude, I’ve had a magnitude of challenges. From starting my college journey during COVID and working a part time job 75% of the time that I’ve been in school. From being displaced and having to find my own housing and struggling mentally and educationally, I can finally say I made it.

I’m beyond grateful for this journey at Howard and for the people I’ve been able to build bonds and connections with.

During my time at Howard I’ve had the privilege to serve as part of the E-Board and social media team in the @hu_baltimoreclub , a part of the programming staff for the small business pop-up shop committee within the @howardugsa , and be a member of the @goodgirlstakehowardu , a mentee turned mentor within the organization @hbcufirst and a college mentor for the non-profit @bai_bmore (which I will gladly be doing again this summer as their lead mentor) Every single moment within these positions has shaped me into the person I am today.

To my incredible mother, none of this would’ve been possible without your unwavering support. If nobody believed in me, you always did and for that I’m so grateful.

Here’s to new beginnings and my journey towards social justice and making the world a more equal and understanding place🫶🏽
