August 2026

It got too hot and we melted and Morri briefly turned into a puppy, Pokopia consumed my life for most of the month, lots of good food, eclipse and BBQ, growing vegetables, board games, walks onto town, and Nebby finally accepts Morri enough to lick her stinky face clean. by @z.vallis

Gotta be honest, not much happened this month other than Morri turned 6 months old, saw Digital Circus in the cinema, played board games, and mostly just tried not to die from the heat. by @z.vallis

May 2026

Morri continues to grow bigger and more cuddly, fun cooking Vietnamese and Singaporean style meals, celebrating Dobbin's birthday, hosting BBQs, going to the theatre and science museum in London, running a Blades in the Dark oneshot, and the golden retriever pop-up cafe event. by @z.vallis

Morrigan's first week with us and she's made so much progress! She was cuddly and affectionate right away and I'd wake up with her snuggled against my arm. She was so keen to explore the rest of the house so quickly and is already at home. First meeting with Nebby was tense - Morri clearly adores Nebby and wants to be friends, but Nebby is less keen - but every day things are improving and Morri is very polite and respects the boundaries Nebby sets down. They're far from friends yet, but already they can coexist in the same room, so lets hope things keep improving. by @z.vallis

I just sat down on the floor and she did this unprompted. Now I'm stuck until she decides to leave 🙃 by @z.vallis

Welcome to the family Morrigan! 🩶 Only 24 hours and you have settled in so well, playing and purring and cuddling up to us so soon! I hope we'll all get to know each other and be so happy together (and that includes big sister Nebby, once she hopefully gets over her stranger anxiety 😭) by @z.vallis

March 2026 (excluding big holiday)

So most of March was the holiday in Vietnam and Singapore, otherwise the big thing was I went to Crufts and saw many cute dogs, and after we got back I got a beautiful tattoo of Momo and Nebby. The weather is finally starting to be good too. by @z.vallis
