93 days ago I posted my weight on the internet: 130 kg. Everyone saw it. That was the point.

I didn’t post it for likes. I posted it so I couldn’t run.

I’ve started before. Quietly. And quit quietly too, because nobody notices what nobody knows about. So this time I made failure public in advance. Show up with results on July 31st, or everyone watches me break my word.

Today is July 31st.

110 kg.

And I get it now. I get why most people watch instead of do. It’s not the diet. It’s that nobody claps for you at 6am. You fight the cravings, the injuries, the boring meals, the voice begging for one day off, all of it alone. The only witness is the mirror.

Some of you asked: Ozempic? Mounjaro? Something?

No. No judgment to anyone who chooses differently. But I needed to know it was me. Food. Training. Walking. A promise I refused to break.

The truth? I spent years building everything except myself. The degrees, the company, the career, while the body carrying it all fell apart. Health was always “later.” Later became years.

I can’t afford to quit. One day someone will call me husband. Someone will call me father. They’ll need a man who keeps his word when it’s hard.

130 to 110 is just the number.
The real transformation isn’t what I lost.
It’s who I’m becoming.

One more update. September 28th.
The day I turn 26.

Last progress post I’ll ever make in public. After that, the results won’t need announcing.

Less than a year after picking up a football with more questions than answers, I found myself in Ningbo experiencing the game on an international stage. 🏈

From learning the strategy and culture of flag football to witnessing athletes, coaches, and officials from around the world push the sport forward, every moment deepened my appreciation for the game and its incredible future.

Grateful to the @effl_uae for this opportunity and for everything I learned along the way. So much growth, so many great conversations, and plenty more to learn.
