Early Fall 🍂 in Southwest Florida is a season of anticipation and vigor. Morning dew lingers a little bit longer. Sunsets inch their way towards the evening commute. And some of the most vibrant flavors of the year find their way onto the plate here at The Supper Club, in a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of creativity.

This September, we’re also teaming up with over 140 other restaurants in the region to help care for the children in our community through the efforts of @blessingsswfl • Every Tuesday-Sunday evening through September 30th, we are offering a three-course savory @sizzledining menu, with an additonal wine pairing for just $35. Our full, seven-course Early Fall Tasting Experience is also available every evening; simply note you or your group’s menu preference in the Resy notes, or advise our team ahead of time with a call at (239) 591-5749.

Please note that reservations are kindly required for either menu. Our Lounge and Patio remain open for walk-in and à la carte patrons.

Time to talk about one of our current favorite wines by-the-glass and on our Early Summer Tasting Menu!

Marselan: The Tiny Grape with a Big Comeback Story 🍇

Marselan is a modern, blue-skinned red wine grape born in 1961, thanks to a gentleman named Paul Truel. Paul was a French ampelographer (yeah, I said “agronomist” but take it easy) who wanted to create a new grape variety in his hometown of Marseillan (can you guess where he got the idea for the name?) in Southern France. He crossed Cabernet Sauvignon (for structure and aging) with Grenache (for heat resistance and fruitiness), and he did, in fact, succeed! Initially overlooked due to its tiny berries and low yields, Marselan has now become a premium, climate-resilient grape sensation around the world — especially here in Uruguay, at Bodega Garzòn 🇺🇾

It’s somehow all-at-once fresh, firm, fruity, dry, bold, yet supple; there’s a wave of brambly mulberry that just sings of sweet summertime, followed by this delightful charred herb and graphite flourish in the finish that feels right at home by a sunset bonfire. There’s so much terroir in this glass — you can feel the freshness of the proximity to the Atlantic, yet the rocky soil and suppleness of sunlight in the vineyard cannot be ignored. This is a surefire winner for us, all summer long. 🌅

And the best part? It’s available right now, by-the-glass, at BOTH of our North Naples restaurants. Come and try it and let us know what you think! 🍷
