Had a cheeky little time at the Critter Tavern Social (hosted by @cosplayhollow.dawn) last week with the bestie @zabrak ! I love little community events like this and I’m getting out of my comfort zone to do more and more soon.

It was so great meeting my mutuals on IG for the first time, and I got to make some new friends too! Thank you all for always being so kind and I’m sorry we didn’t take more pictures. 🥺

Happiest of anniversaries to @critical_role !! Still can’t believe I got to have my first cosplay shoot with this amazing group, and of course the biggest of thank yous to @christopher_batiz_photography for wrangling us. 🪲🩷

it feels kinda weird to have a year full of so many losses also be a year of so many accomplishments. I think I was in mourning just as much as I was celebrating. But I’ve been thinking a lot about how I’m living a life teenage me would have never imagined possible, even if it isn’t exactly what I pictured, and I’m grateful I made it here.

I haven’t spoken about Sam Nordquist yet because I didn’t know how to. Every time I read what happened my throat closed up. I see so much of myself in him. And this is the second time I’m posting a dead trans person to my grid.
He was 24. A black trans man who came to new york because a girl he loved asked him to. She, and 4 others, held Sam captive for months and tortured him until they killed him.
It’s not currently being ruled as a hate crime.
A black. Trans man. Was lured in by a group of people and tortured for several months. And it’s not being ruled a hate crime.
I finally forced myself to post something because I couldn’t deal with every single fucking publication using the oldest photos of him they could find. God forbid he be granted any dignity in death. This is who Sam was, this was is true self, and I need to share that because it’s going to get harder and harder for any of us to live authentically. by @zabrak
