$Sharnickqua Olenthus Wright 🕊️ September 20, 1975 - August 6, 2023 ❤️ In 2023, I lost my best friend, mentor, and #1 cheerleader. For those of you who never met my mom, she was a remarkable woman. Her life was upended at an early age, but she eventually became a Rhodes scholar who dedicated her life to the teaching and service of children. The evidence is in my mixed family. She opened her home to everyone who needed it; that alone didn’t even scratch the surface of her multitudes. I’ll never be a fraction of the powerhouse my mother was, but I can try to live by what she taught me: 1. Never take warm skin for granted. (She’d say while tackling me) 2. Faith and fear can’t coexist (Let go and let God) 3. You’re never too old to learn (It’s ok to fail, but you better not quit) I pray that I become deserving of her everything in 2024. I love you mom. by @zaccariahsocrates$
