Today, I say a heartfelt goodbye to Texoma FC. It has been an incredible journey filled with unforgettable memories and amazing people. I will always cherish the friendships I’ve made with the Texoma FC family.

At the same time, I am thrilled to share a new chapter in my life. I have been called to serve as the Connections Pastor at Joshua’s Crossing, and this is truly my dream job. I’m so excited to work alongside John and Trey (every day), the JC Leadership Team, JC Ministry Leaders, JC Volunteers and Partners, as we work together to build His Kingdom and His church. Since the Lord laid this on my heart back in 2018, I’ve been praying and trusting His timing to enter full-time church ministry. I’m so grateful for this opportunity to tell others in our community about what Jesus did for us on the cross. I will do my best to give everything I have to serve the Lord in this capacity. Thank you to everyone that knew my heart and was praying along with me.

I want to thank my gorgeous, way-out-of-my-league wife for being so supportive and encouraging me to stay focused on God during some tough days, especially after I was laid off from my radio job of 11 years. She is so much better than me. LOL! She is seriously the best wife and mom! The boys and I thank the Lord for her every single minute of every single day!

Craig Groeschel’s words resonate deeply with me: “If it’s not God’s time, you can’t force it. When it is God’s time, you can’t stop it.” I am so excited to continue to seek after Him as the Connections Pastor at Joshua’s Crossing. “Let’s roll!” - Colleen Edward Matey

May we never become so focused on the things of this world that we lose sight of what truly matters. May our greatest ambition always be to know Jesus, live for Him, and make Him known.

Everything in this world is temporary. Jesus is eternal.

We don’t take it lightly the gift God has given us at JC through our pastors!

The way you three love, lead, pour into and pray for His people is unmatched. You make this house so special. Thank you for the prayers no one hears.

Because of your “yes”, your obedience, sacrifice and love, people and families are restored, redeemed, and faith in Jesus is growing stronger.

We honor you, pray for you, love you and celebrate you!

Thank you, Lord, for our pastors!
