I don’t usually quote reviews in my captions, but I’m too proud of this one not to:

“We met Zach through Rainbow Wedding Network, and we couldn’t be happier with the work he’s done for our wedding. Since both of us are trans and non-binary, it was important for us to work with a photographer who understood us as a couple.”

it’s been such a treat to work with the fine folks at @arthouseconvergence for the past three years.

as a freelancer, i don’t have typical co-worker relationships, so recurring jobs like this one are extra special.

getting to document the experience that arthouse convergence works so hard to create makes me feel a little closer to the movies. and i love that.

annnd i got to meet a leftist icon in boots riley! so happy to report that he is the real deal and total sweetie. taken in Music Box Theatre by @zachcaddy

mubi fest was just so sick. i spied with my little eye a drag performance, a scream queen, the chicago premier of @campmiasma, cosplaying fans, a scratch n sniff screening, a vintage market, a concert, a sing along screening, a live score from a jazz quartet, and so much more. taken in The Salt Shed by @zachcaddy

“my friends it is solidarity we want. we do not want to find fault with each other, but to solidify our forces and say to each other: we must be together; our masters are joined together and we must do the same thing.” - mother jones

We invite you to head to our website and read our Journal about Claudia & Ryan’s wedding. So much intention behind this beautiful day. It was an honor to be their florist, and we couldn’t be happier for these two!
