Last night was a total dream. Cannot thank Teenage Bottlerocket, Tightwire and the Drowns for having us enough, and for Black Heart Booking / Metro Concerts Live for having us. And of course for Hot Fuzz for sharing the stage with us and rocking the house. Our first full set of originals and we feel really good about it. More to come!! TBR invited all the band members and crew involved with the show to come on stage to take a group photo and it was so cool to do that. TONIGHT!!! It’s a busy busy evening but a super fun evening!!! Aliens Do Exist is opening for the mighty Teenage Bottlerocket alongside the amazing bands Tightwire, the Drowns and Hot Fuzz at Icon Lounge. Doors at 6, show at 7. The wonderful Hot Fuzz starts off the show, so be there early!! I still have tickets left if you would like one!!

And since I will be at Icon tonight, the amazing Becca Gehm will be hosting solo, and the theme is celebrating neurodivergence!! Love the flyer and it’ll be a super fun trivia night at Fernson Downtown / Totally Rad Eats. 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

While it was a blast seeing bands like the Strokes, Passion Pit, Cage the Elephant, and Atmosphere live at Minnesota Yacht Club yesterday, it was Semisonic playing “Closing Time” that made the day for me honestly. On Friday I traveled to Omaha at the Slowdown to see one of the coolest shows I’ve been to in a long time with my buddy Robert Hawk. The lineup was so stacked. The Bouncing Souls, the Suicide Machines, Death by Stereo and the Drowns ALL IN ONE NIGHT. Incredible incredible show.
