Does two half’s make a full?

70.3 - 4:59:55

This prep challenged me in ways I never expected, from limping on my right foot a week out from the race to running a half marathon pr. A huge thank you to my friends and family for their for cheering and supporting me only not only on race day but everyday.

To the boys on Monarch Road and 55th. Thank you for being there when I needed it most. I would not have finished under 5 hours without you.

This sport has done so much for me and I’m only getting started. taken in Boulder Reservoir by @zachhlav

I guess I’m only half of an Ironman…
I learned a lot about my body yesterday and what my mind can accomplish. Very excited to see where this sport takes me next. taken in Boulder Reservoir by @zachhlav
