On the 6th of October, we’re getting together at Takali Brewing Co. to talk all things Tuscany Six. 🏃‍♂️

We’ll take you through what the challenge looks like, how we’ll prepare for six days on the road, and what you can expect in the months ahead.

We’ll also be joined by Fondazzjoni Suret il-Bniedem, who will share more about their work and the Residents Wellbeing Programme that Tuscany Six will be raising funds for. ❤️

Come for a beer, bring a friend and hear what Tuscany Six is all about. 🍻

Whether you’re an experienced runner or completely new to this, everyone is welcome. It’s about bringing people together to take on six days in Tuscany, support each other along the way and share an experience that goes beyond the miles.

We hope to see you there. 🤝

What does it actually take to run a marathon every day for six days?

It takes preparation. It takes commitment. And it takes knowing how to approach the challenge.

The months before Tuscany Six are about getting you ready for it. Training, preparation, pacing, nutrition and recovery all have a part to play, and we’ll be there to guide you through each stage. You don’t need to be an experienced runner to take part. With the right preparation, commitment and support, you can get yourself ready for the challenge. The aim isn’t just to get you to the start line. It’s to make sure you’ve put in the work and understand how to approach the six days ahead. 🏃‍♂️

Once we’re in Tuscany, it isn’t simply 42km from start to finish. Each day is broken into sections, with time to stop, refuel, eat, recover and reset. There’s time to switch off in the evenings, enjoy where we are, and, most importantly, a whole community around you doing it together. 🤝

There’s also the part that makes all of that effort worth it. Running through Tuscany, sharing the experience with a group of people who have committed to the same challenge, and knowing that every kilometre is helping raise funds @suretilbniedem ❤️

You don’t need to believe you can run six marathons today. You need to be willing to put in the time, commit to the training, trust the preparation and believe you can get there. We’ll be there to help you do it.

If you’ve been wondering whether Tuscany Six could be for you, this is a good place to start. Join us on 6 October at 7pm at Takali Brewing Co. in Ta’ Qali, where we’ll talk through the challenge, the preparation and what the journey looks like from here. 🇮🇹 by @zachov

Six days. Six marathons. One incredible adventure through Tuscany. 🇮🇹

From the ancient walls of Lucca, through the rolling hills of Chianti, medieval towns, the Crete Senesi and the landscapes of Val d’Orcia, all the way to Lake Bolsena. The route takes you through some of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany, on foot.

But Tuscany Six isn’t just about the places you’ll see.

It’s about the community you build along the way, pushing yourself outside your comfort zone and taking on something bigger than yourself. Every kilometre has a purpose, raising funds for @suretilbniedem ❤️

Six days you’ll remember, a challenge you’ll be proud of, and an adventure to remember.

Swipe through to see the journey ahead. 👉

If you want to know more about Tuscany Six, we’re hosting an info session on 6 October at 7pm at Takali Brewing Co. in Ta’ Qali. We’d love for you to join us. We’ll be talking through the challenge, what’s involved and what you can expect in the months ahead.

The next chapter of Homebound has a new cause behind it. 🤝

For Tuscany Six, we’re proud to be supporting Fondazzjoni Suret il-Bniedem, an organisation that has been supporting people experiencing homelessness and facing difficult situations in Malta for over 25 years.

Their work is about more than providing a place to stay. It’s about creating a safe space, offering support and helping people move towards a more stable future, with dignity, hope and love at the centre of what they do.

Their work also recognises that homelessness is rarely an isolated issue. Many of the people they support are also facing mental health challenges, and their services are there to support people alongside homelessness.

We’re proud to be supporting them and sharing more about the work behind this cause. ❤️ by @zachov

50 days. One road. A lifetime of memories. ⚡🏃

From the early mornings to the longest days, the fatigue, the laughs, the moments of doubt and the moments that made it all worth it. A journey like that has a way of leaving its mark.

For 50 days, Zach showed up day after day with a goal that stretched far beyond the run itself. What started as an ambitious challenge became a journey that brought people together, started conversations, and helped shine a light on the work being done by @ymca_malta

As the dust begins to settle, we’re incredibly proud of what was achieved and grateful to everyone who followed, supported the cause or simply cheered from afar. What a road it was. 💛 by @zachov

A look back at our time on the road, in numbers. 🏃

50 days from London to Malta. It’s only now starting to sink in what went into a challenge of this scale, and what it took to carry it all the way through, with a purpose that went far beyond the run itself. 🙏💛

We’re happy to announce that we have reached a total of €157,000. 🎉

A further €11,000 was raised after the finish, taking the total far beyond what we set out to achieve.

We’re still taking it all in, and what this now makes possible is that YMCA Malta will be able to support more vulnerable people, expand the Drop-In Centre, and develop the Stage 2 semi-independent living apartment. 🏠

Thank you to everyone who has supported the cause, donated, showed up, or played a role in any way. We are extremely grateful — none of this would have been possible without you. 💛 by @zachov

2,755km later, Zach arrived home. 💛

Yesterday, Miles From Home came to an end outside YMCA Valletta after 51 days on the road.

Seeing so many people turn up and run the final stretch into Valletta alongside Zach was something really special. The atmosphere, the support, the emotion, it’s hard to properly put into words.

Together, we raised €145,000 for YMCA Malta. 🙌

This challenge was created to support the expansion of YMCA Malta’s drop-in centre and help fund the Stage 2 semi-independent living apartment project, providing more support and housing for people who need it most.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this journey over the past 8 weeks. To the sponsors, supporters, crew, family, friends, everyone who followed the run, shared it, supported it, joined along the way, or welcomed Zach home, thank you. None of this would have been possible without you. 🙏

Mission complete. 🏁 🏃

Now it’s time for some well-earned rest. by @zachov
