Our clients couldn't understand our proposals. We built them by hand in a spreadsheet, then retyped the scope into an agreement, sent it through DocuSign, a Google Form and a kickoff booked over email. So we built this. Now clients turn rooms on and off and watch the budget change, sign right inside it, book the kickoff in the welcome form, and have everything in one place.

Hey, I’m Zack, and this is what I’m building.

I build the systems, the AI, and the people that a business runs on. Not advice from the sidelines. I get in and build it with the founder and their team, through my company, Origin.

Two weeks ago I deleted 43 recurring events from my calendar. Too many blocks, attention fragmented, tired and unproductive. Now each day has a focus, with AM and PM blocks for deep work, and I'm enjoying the process more.

If editing is the reason you don't post, read this. I didn't edit my last eight videos. Claude did, all at the same time.

No editing app, no subscription. I shoot on my phone, drop the clips in a folder, and say what's wrong until it's right.

If you're explaining the same thing to Claude every single week, stop. Make it a skill.

A skill is just instructions it follows every time. Mine grades every sales call I take. I wrote it once and use it every day.

Start with whatever you explain the most, and write it like you're training a new hire.

You are enough.🤍 I used to spend my nights replaying every little detail [honestly, still do]. The words I wish I said. The tasks left undone. The worries about tomorrow. It felt like my brain refused to clock out. And the wildest part? Absolutely nothing was wrong in reality, but my nervous system couldn't tell. It still carried all that weight and urgency, whispering that I had to fix it all before closing my eyes. I'm slowly realizing that peace doesn't arrive when the checklist is finally empty. It arrives when you simply decide that today was enough. Nothing in your world actually requires a midnight solution. You have full permission to drop the heavy thoughts. You have permission to call it a day. You have permission to rest just because you exist. Tonight, try a shift in perspective: Instead of questioning what fell through the cracks, acknowledge what you carried and handled that you haven't given yourself credit for yet. Let that settle into your spirit. You're doing far better than your anxious mind tells you. by @zack.petrocca

If you're thinking about custom software for your business, watch this first.

I'm not a developer, and I built the software my whole company runs on. Over 1,500 updates since August.

People assume Claude does it all in minutes. It doesn't. Before it writes anything, someone has to know who's going to use it, what they do today, and where it breaks. Those are judgment calls, and they're yours.

Skip them and you get a really fast mess. Trust me, I've been there.
