I’m beyond excited to start my semester abroad and it’s been surreal preparing for it the last couple months (shout out to my mom for being patient and running around Ottawa with me) but I had two people remind me just how long this has been in the making. First off Erika reminded me how long I've been on the learn French train and all the effort I put in when doing explore in Chicoutimi or taking French at university. The second was with my mom in the final few weeks of preparing and us reminiscing about how enamoured I’ve been with Europe since I was a kid. I remember obsessing over French high-speed rail or the French green movement or the Finnish education system. I feel lucky that I have people in my life who help me to put into perspective when I’m finally realizing something I’ve yearned for. And I will say the best start to my next 6 months was getting on a plane to leave Canada for 6 months and reading a handwritten letter describing how proud your family is of you and how happy they are that you will live the experience you've been starving for. I love you guys and I miss you already tl;dr: I’ll be in France/Belgium the next few months riding trains, learning French, and being fascinated at the lack of refrigeration. taken in Grenoble, France by @zack613

So me and Erika have had a streak going of seeing every Marvel movie on opening night. I was sad that I was going to be in Ottawa when it came out but then we found out that it comes out a full week earlier in Korea!!!!!🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷
Thor: Ragnarok (토르: 라그나로크) does not disappoint. It was amazing!!!! It's weird that when I come back to Ottawa I'm going to have to wait 5 days to see it. #crossedanoceantoseeitearly
