Ironman Texas—140.6 miles.

April 26, 2025 is the day I became an Ironman

This race wasn’t just about crossing a finish line—it was about every early morning, every sore muscle, every moment I wanted to quit but didn’t. It was about proving to myself that I am capable of the impossible.

I swam, I biked, I ran—not just with my body, but with everything in me. Pain met purpose. Doubt met determination. And somewhere along the way, I found a deeper version of myself.

Doing an Ironman had been a dream of mine—but I never really thought I could.

Last July 4th, I ran my first 10k with zero training. It was brutal—but something about that pain lit a fire in me. A month later, after tossing around the idea with my cousin and uncle, we signed up for Ironman Texas.

People thought I was crazy. No cardio background, no bike, couldn’t swim, never ran more than 6 miles. Honestly? I started to wonder if they were right. But I never stopped believing in myself.

I got humbled quick, but I stayed consistent. And day by day, it stopped feeling impossible—and started feeling inevitable.

Huge thanks to my cousin Jake and Uncle Greg—couldn’t have done this without them. Their experience of 10+ full and 30+ half Ironmans was my foundation.

Uncle Greg couldn’t race due to cancer, but he’s recovering now—and that means everything.

If you’re looking for proof that anyone can do the impossible—your’e looking at it. I started with doubt, fear, and no idea how I’d finish. But with consistency, support, and heart, I did it.

I’m beyond grateful for every bit of support I received along the way. Your encouragement, belief, and love carried me through the hardest moments.

I couldn’t have done this without you all—thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I know that crossing that finish line changed me—but I also know there’s more in me.

Next time, I’m chasing something deeper than a medal.
Sub-12 is the goal—but the real win is becoming the person who gets there.

This journey isn’t over. It’s only just begun.
