Sun God (short film)

I recorded Sun God on my Circuit Bent Canon digital handcam bent by @glitchwerks for the
@smallfile Media Festival. The recordings are from a trail i hiked in June 2026, then I edited the footage in Davinci Resolve on my laptop (and compressed with handbrake to around 5mb). The OST / Foley are clips from Freesound.org that I edited and mangled in Ableton, with some light synthesizer work from me.

The idea was that someone was possessed by a Sun Deity to find glimmers of light and offer them back to the Sun as tribute. I was inspired by how the sun looked through the camera so I formed this idea around it. (: by @zackwebsite
