This one is close to my heart.

As I travel back to the field, I’m carrying a lot with me. The last month has been one of the hardest of my life, standing beside my father as he faces his own battle.

Leaving him wasn’t easy. But he is also one of the reasons I keep going.

Sometimes you carry the pain with you and continue serving anyway.

May Allah accept this journey, protect my father, and make every step of this work a means of healing, reward and Sadaqah for him. 🤲🏽❤️ by @zaddy_zs

Some days you realise the help we give is also the help our own hearts need.

You go there hoping to bring someone a little hope, but their smile, their happiness and their duas end up giving you something you didn’t know you needed.

Sometimes Allah allows you to heal someone else’s heart while quietly healing yours too.

🇮🇩 Emergency Eye Surgeries in Indonesia

Sometimes we don’t realise how blessed we are until we witness someone praying for the things we take for granted every single day.

The ability to open our eyes and see our loved ones… to see the world around us… is a blessing from Allah that many are desperately waiting for.

Today, by the will of Allah, we have the opportunity to help restore someone’s sight. 🤲🏽

Never forget what Allah has blessed you with. One day, we may wish we had appreciated the blessings we barely noticed.

The moment your eyes see this blessed city, your heart finds a peace that words can never truly describe.

After Fajr… this is what our hearts have been searching for.

In a world that has drained us, tested us, and taken so much of our energy, there is no peace like standing before Allah.

Here, the noise of this dunya fades. The worries become smaller. The heart finally finds the place it has been longing for all along.

Being away from home is never easy. But as a father, you keep going because your children are depending on you. You sacrifice today in the hope of giving them a better tomorrow in a life filled with tests and trials.

Every step, every hardship, and every blessing is only by the permission of Allah. Never forget that nothing happens except through His will.
