Saw this earlier and it hit me hard.

Dear God,
When I've hurt someone with my words, when pride makes me want to defend myself instead of owning what I did, give me the courage to admit when I'm wrong. When it feels easier to explain, excuse, or quietly move on, soften my heart and help me say the simple words... I was wrong, and I'm sorry. Your Word says, “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” (Proverbs 28:13)

Father, help me care more about restoring relationships than protecting my image. When I need to make something right, give me humility without shame, honesty without excuses, and the grace to really listen. Thank You for meeting me with mercy every time I come back to You. Make me quick to repent, quick to forgive, and slow to pride.

In Jesus' name, amen. 🙏 by @zaddysciatica
