I used to think the problem was motivation.
Or discipline.
Or that I simply wasn’t “built” for showing up consistently.

But it wasn’t any of those things.

After enough quiet disappointments — the posts that got nothing, the pieces that stayed unseen, the internal voice that judged before anyone else could — something in me shifted. My mind started treating effort like a risk that no longer paid off. Even when opportunities were right there, I stayed still.

That’s the quiet power of learned helplessness. Your system learns from past outcomes and keeps applying the same rule long after the situation has changed.

You can have ideas.
You can know you’re capable.
And still move through your days as if the old barriers are still in place.

What finally helped wasn’t forcing bigger actions.
It was proving to myself, in tiny ways, that my effort could still create a result. One small win at a time. Enough for the nervous system to update its story.

I’m still learning this.
But I’m no longer waiting for the feeling of readiness to arrive first.

I’ve been sitting with this for a long time.The quiet knowing that I have so much inside me…

I’m not talking about the usual “I’m not motivated” feeling.
I’m talking about the deeper stages most stuck artists never name out loud. The fraud feelings that appears the second you create something.
The invisible walls that stay even after the real obstacles are gone.

Each post will dig into the real mental conditions, the psychology behind them, the theories and books that actually explain why we stay stuck — and what quietly shifts when we finally understand them.

There are names that should never have to be spoken in the past tense. Aizal. Ayat. Two little girls whose only crime was trusting the world we handed them. One was barely old enough to walk, the other still young enough to believe that home was the safest place on earth. Both were failed by the very people and systems that were supposed to protect them.
This is not just another tragedy that will fade when the next headline arrives. This is a wound that keeps reopening every time we choose silence over accountability, every time we prioritise comfort over the safety of a child. How many more small lives must be stolen before we stop treating these cases as isolated incidents instead of a national emergency?
Their stories demand more than our temporary outrage. They demand that we look harder at the people we trust, the laws we ignore, and the indifference we still carry. If our hearts are still capable of breaking, let them break for Aizal and Ayat — and then let that brokenness become the force that refuses to look away again. by @zahflix8
