A haunted past. A dark power. A love that could unite realms… or blow open the chasm between them forever.

She is Elyria Lightbreaker.

🦋

And here it is, folks, as promised—the second piece that the absolutely phenomenal @zai_elia did of none other than our fair Revenant.

Just like with Cedric’s portrait, I am absolutely, utterly blown away by the detail and symbolism that Zai manages to thread through every inch of this incredible piece. The shattered pieces of her past lingering behind her? The symbol of her future falling to her feet? She is still haunted by Evander and by what that earring means (IYKYK) but there is a fiery hope burning around her too (again, IYKYK 🐦‍🔥) Not to mention there’s just the insane majesty and beauty of her wings! I mean, my GAHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Thank you thank you thank you Zai for the most incredible portraits of these two, and if you, dear reader, have yet to meet either of these two beautiful idiots for yourself, what could you possibly be waiting for???? 😌

Casimir Vivaldri, The Fallen.

Please everyone take a moment for the DETAILS!!! The bleeding dove? The lyre? The ravens?? @zai_elia understood the assignment and delivered tenfold!!🖤

We are officially ONE WEEK AWAY from the release of A Ballad for the Broken, the second installment in the Cadence of the Fallen series. Blurb below:

Lyra is gone. Draven is desperate. Bathara must rebuild in the ashes of its ruin.

Upon awakening in a foreign place she does not recognize, Lyra Izacalli faces the cold reality of her capture, demanding answers she does not easily receive—the ways of the world slowly shifting beneath her feet as everything she thought she knew is tested through her new surroundings.

Draven Dalmar searches tirelessly to bring Lyra home. Yet it seems every force in existence is working against him. Defeated yet not losing hope, he is forced to maneuver through a series of choices that could change everything as he knows it, soon learning the cost of Lyra’s freedom may just be his very own chains.

All the while, shifting circumstances bring some relationships closer together—despite tearing others apart. Secrets emerge from the forgotten shadows. Cruel games are played. And betrayal stains the horizon. Yet through it all, one thing remains true…

A girl who refuses to be a pawn does not simply lie down and give in.

She fights back.

A Ballad for the Broken is the second book in the richly imaginative Cadence of the Fallen series, perfect for fans of complex characters, political intrigue, found family, and sweeping romance that stays with you long after the final page.

Artwork for Les Deux Royaumes by @camille.jedel.auteur ✨

This illustration was created as a standee artwork. The layout was bit complicated for me to get it right , but @camille.jedel.auteur was wonderfully supportive throughout the process 💜🥹

Please check out her book and show it some love! 📖✨
