The Respite - Part 1

This is a little mini comic about characters from my story Downpour, Lorna and Theo, and the predicament they’re in! I have ideas for some more pages but I’m just going with the flow so we will see if I make more🙂‍↕️ comics still take me so long but icl they’re some of my fav things to make as of rn
(Technically this classifies as pride month art cause Theo is trans, Lorna is queer, and there’s an ominous church)

Hey, no sweat.

Slight spoiler warning though not really imo. I like this film a lot. I’ve had this idea for weeks and I finally committed to drawing it properly!! I really love the way Bryan clutches the empty med bag when he gets to the lab. I can yap about it but I don’t want to be annoying under my art so enjoy!! Oh and I’m sorry I think
P.s. I know Bryan wears those reversible mitten/fingerless gloves, I just didnt wanna draw them❤️

Little Lorna drawing very loosely inspired by a stupid Johnny berchtold photo (which is on my tumblr). This one was from some point last month I just never posted it on here - works for spooky month tho!! Happy October! I decided to play around with a different colouring method to my usual and this took me 5 million years to finish cause I kept getting frustrated BUT I think it’s worth it… anyway. Daughter!

Raine • Justice

Hello folks it’s been a while!!! I already wrote this caption once but insta killed it, bear with me. I’m still here and drawing - just not digitally because I’ve been struggling with posting art - the algo on all socials is really killing my motivation LOL. I’m trying to figure out a way to get my brain back in the game, but I don’t love my current options for places to post my work. I’m still here though!! Not planning on leaving c:

On another note, this is Raine!! The (current) final main character for my story Downpour. You could probably figure out their spot in the narrative if you squint (including spoilers, but I doubt anyone is catching that). Their axe’s name is Terra because all cool weapons have lore relevant names. Their design also put me through the wringer because I have desperately been trying to get better at clothing design BUT I am happy with the final :3 I have a weird deal where I can never lock in on character reference sheets, so, when I doubt - tarot.

My final 2 art fight attacks!! I’m finally back home and could post these. Characters belong to @sillystrawbs and @lobotemis in that order c: I’m so glad the prop design attacks have been a hit so far! These were both so much fun
I managed to get 11 attacks out - it’s been a busy month for me lol! BUT for my first year doing art fight, I’m quite happy with that total

Last art fight post for rn! I wanted to try something different - I have a soft spot for prop design, so I made a guitar for @sillystrawbs ‘s oc Rouge - since they’re mentioned to have one if I’m not mistaken. This was a lot of fun. I tried to translate their personality into how they may handle a beloved item + how her design would translate :33

After a long day at Evil Corp, even the Mr Men need to catch some shut eye - specially on a train ride.

I took this picture last week when I was out with some awesome friends and I really liked it!!! So naturally I decided to paint Lorna over it (also drew her when we went out!) I really like how this one came out I think it’s fun. She’s probably running to tell Theo to not do Something Stupid. I did my best to give her decent goalie physique but I might keep messing with her build and etc. one day I’ll do more stuff abt their loreeee I have a mini comic planned
