Michael has been a part of my life since the 80s, as a kid growing up in Pakistan we were lucky to be traveling since a few months after I was born , taking my first steps walking in simi valley California where Michael was seen in a disguise visiting a grocery store I’m pretty sure we crossed his path , my family lives in California and saw him live years later sadly I missed my chance luckily o visited Charlie Chaplin home in Switzerland whom Michael dearly admired and took a picture with Michael’s statue . Michael’s posters in my diplomatic apartment when I was pre teen yelling at anyone who would take his name out loud 🥹☠️ who knew I’d follow his legacy and help children in Africa starving and without a decent piece of sheet to Sleep on , girls without sanitation needs and basic humans rights like water . Michael’s songs were recorded on my tape recorder and I listened to the same songs 42 years later . Michael’s Jackson 5 record along with Dianna Ross whom we met in Marbella club ( we had a summer villa and often had people like @koolandthegang visit us after their concert back in the 80s ) .no stranger to music growing up with Elvis being moms favorite, Dianna Ross and Nat king Cole some others being my fathers favorite we were exposed to the stardom and music 🎶 lifestyle early on . Years later we see Michael in HD and 4k on our phones only to revive what had been buried a revival of a lost star whom people tried very hard to hurt and defame . He was an icon for billions still is but his death seams to be questionable 17 years later more impactful painful for every Michael fan who never witnessed his magic live sadly . We want justice for Michael meanwhile we will continue to celebrate his legacy through his old footage and music ( lucky I saw his musical in New York ) that not only changed the way I am thought felt but also doing so much good in this evil world. Praying during fajar for the king who is at peace now up above with my dad and all the good ones .
