🌀 1 hour cinnamon rolls! 🌀 recipe by @brightmomentco (on her blog)! i will never stop talking about this cinnamon rolls recipe bc it’s the fastest way to make the most soft and melt in your mouth cinnamon rolls!

ive made a video on these cinnamon rolls a few months ago for the fall and i knew i had to make another video for the winter time bc the weather finally screams cozy vibes! instead of making 6 large rolls like the recipe originally calls for, i rolled the dough out a bit more to make 15 smaller rolls (with a few wonky ones left over). i wanted to give some away but tbh they’re too good to share LOLLL

i hope you guys give this recipe a try bc i always come back to it! the link is in my highlights!

🍓 white chocolate strawberry blondies recipe 🍓

ingredients:
•1 box of strawberry cake mix (about 15 oz)
•½ cup of unsalted butter, melted
•2 eggs
•1 tsp vanilla extract
•½ cup white chocolate chips or chunks (add more or less as u wish)
•optional - large white chocolate chunks/hearts for top (i used hershey’s pink cookies n crème hearts)

directions:
1. preheat oven to 350F. line an 8x8 or 9x9 square pan with parchment paper.
2. mix together all ingredients except for the white chocolate chips. once combined, mix in the chips and adjust amount to your liking.
3. press the batter into your prepared pans. bake for 20-22 minutes or until puffed up and a toothpick inserted comes out with very little moist crumbs. don’t over bake unless you want cakey brownies!!
4. immediately press more white chocolate on top and allow to cool in pan for 15 minutes. if using the hershey’s hearts like i did, i’d wait till the surface of the blondies are warm to the touch so that they don’t completely melt like mine. you want the blondies to be just warm enough to melt the bottoms of the hearts so that they stick.
5. serve while warm or cooled completely! 🍓

🧁🍫 copycat hostess cupcakes recipe 🍫🧁

(makes 12-15 cupcakes)

ingredients:

for the chocolate cupcakes:
•1 cup sugar
•1 cup flour
•1/2 cup cocoa powder
•1 tsp baking soda
•1/2 tsp baking powder
•1/2 tsp salt
•1/2 cup buttermilk
•1/4 cup vegetable oil
•1 large egg
•1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
•1/2 cup hot coffee OR water

for the filling:
•1/4 cup unsalted butter, room temp
•1/2 cup powdered sugar
•5 oz marshmallow creme

for the ganache:
•4 oz semisweet chocolate chips
•6 tbs heavy fluff

for the vanilla icing (optional unless you want the signature swirls):
•2 tbs unsalted butter, room temp
•½ cup powdered sugar
•splash of vanilla
•2-2½ tsp milk

1. preheat oven to 350F. line or grease cupcake trays.
2. in a bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients. whisk in your buttermilk, oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth. add in your hot coffee/water and whisk till combined
3. divide into your cupcake trays and bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes clean or with a few moist crumbs
4. cool for 2-3 minutes in the pans and then allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
5. for the filling, beat the butter till smooth. then add half the powdered sugar, mix, and add in the other half and mix. lastly fold in in your marshmallow fluff. transfer filling to a piping bag.
6. to make the ganache, heat your heavy cream till almost boiling and then pour over your chocolate chips. allow to sit for 2-3 minutes before whisking to combine. if this sets up or becomes too thick microwave it for a few seconds.
7. for the vanilla icing, beat butter until light and fluffy. then add your powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla and beat till combined. transfer to a piping bag
8. to assemble, use a knife or apple corer to make a hole in the cupcakes, keeping the tops that come out. pipe the marshmallow filling in the hole. cover with the tops. then dip the surface of the cupcakes in the ganache. lastly, pipe the signature loops on top.
9. enjoy! 🧁

💘 valentine’s m&m cookie recipe 💘

makes 36-40 cookies (yes it’s a lot but it’s perfect for sharing with your valentine or galentines party! the recipe can also be halved!)

ingredients:
•3 cups flour
•2 tsps baking powder
•1 tsp baking soda
•½ tsp salt
•1 cup tsp unsalted butter, room temp
•1 cup granulated sugar
•⅔ cup brown sugar
•2 eggs
•1 tbs + 1 tsp vanilla extracttine’s
•2 cups m&m’s
•1 cup mini chocolate chips (or regular ones or just more m&m’s)

directions:
1. whisk together your flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. set aside
2. cream together the butter and both sugars till light and fluffy. add in your eggs and vanilla mix until combined. add in your flour and mix, followed by your m&m’s and chocolate chips. optional: reserve about ¾ cups total of these mix ins to add before/after baking.
3. scoop into 2 tbs dough balls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. you can skip refrigeration but the cookies will be much thinner and crispy. refrigerating longer thicker cookies.
4. preheat your oven to 350F. place dough balls on a lined baking sheet about 2-3 inches apart. optional: top with reserved m&m’s. bake for 10-13 minutes or until the edges are golden. (they will look puffy when you take them out of the oven but they flatten as they cool)
5. optional: once out of the oven, immediately add m&m’s and chocolate chips on top to make them more pretty!
6. cool completely and enjoy! 💘

here are some common mistakes even i’m guilty of making 🫣:

🥖 measuring flour wrong: scooping flour packs it down, making your bakes dense. always spoon and level your flour for the perfect texture. or better yet, use a kitchen scale!
🥄 overmixing the batter: too much mixing = tough, dense treats. this is more likely to happen when using an electric mixer so it’s best to finish the last step of mixing by hand!

🧈 butter too soft or too cold: butter should be softened but cool to the touch. if it’s greasy, melting, or rock hard, it’ll throw off your texture. you can even use a thermometer to check if your butter is at room temp, between 65-67F.

⏲️ opening the oven too early: keep that door closed! opening it mid-bake can cause your desserts to sink. use the oven light instead. or if you don’t have one, wait until at least ½-¾ of the baking time is over to open the door slightly and check!! in some instances like puff pastry or cheesecake it’s best not to open the oven AT ALL till the end of the bake time.
