I once went fully blonde, which harmed both my hair and roots; the shedding was so severe that I had to regrow everything. I experienced chemical damage to my hair cells, and gradually my entire hair began falling out. I decided I needed to care for my hair, and I will share how I did so.

1. Stop dyeing your hair, especially bleaching, because it harms the root.
2. If you face intense shedding, review your blood work and consult a dermatologist or aesthetic physician to list the tests suited to your age and gender. Correct any blood deficiencies, as they are vital for growth.
3. Use hair oil, hair mask, conditioner, serum, and heat protector spray.
4. Reduce daily blow-drying and straightening, which further damage already bleached and burned hair.
5. Use a wide-tooth comb; avoid brushes or tight combs that break more hair and increase shedding.
6. Avoid keratin, straightening treatments, and hair Botox; let your hair grow naturally to limit damage.

It took me nearly four years to restore my hair from damaged blonde to healthy, nourished, long, luscious hair.
