The importance of changing what the mind is conditioned to value.

It’s easy to gravitate towards what feels appealing in the moment, the work we enjoy, the ideas that excite us, the parts of the process that offer immediate fulfilment.

But there is far more value in training the mind to recognise importance over appeal. To find fulfilment in completing what is necessary, particularly when there is little desire to do it.

More often than not, those are the first dominos. The actions that create momentum, remove resistance and allow everything else to follow.
