Princess and the pea or Odin and the blankets? by @zaledaji
They are still the coolest, bravest and most incredible dudes! Dzintars seems to be responding to his medicine and has resumed eating dry food on his own. He never finishes a single piece because it gets harder to hold it as it gets smaller but he just picks up another one and keeps eating! 🥳🥳🥳 (I still give him extra babyfood and hover around like the overbearing momther that I am.) I know there's no cure for a pituitary tumour but he is obviously feeling better, seems to have regained some interest about life and we get a little more time with my beautiful boy. Zibens (⚡️) had grown a small lump on his back that turned out to be a lipoma so the vet took it away. 👿 My dude doesn't seem to mind the stitches much though, no pain or anything other than the bald spot on his back gets a little cold I guess - he has been sleeping in the heated box quite often. And Odin is just a little trooper. He got a stern talk for having some noisy breathing one evening so he got it under control. 😆 Goes for walks (...or slides) often and demands snacks, and doesn't bother climbing into our bed if I am there - just comes to me and waits to be gently picked up and placed under the covers like a prince. Overall they are just perfect babies. 12/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ by @zaledaji
Dzintars is being a very brave boy. We have a suspected diagnosis of pituitary tumour and we are trying meds that seemed to really help a sibling from this same litter but there are no guarantees. He is disoriented and struggles to hold anything in his paws, making eating very hard. Having HLD and being almost fully blind is challenging but absolutely manageable with a little gabapentin, rats are able to adapt to almost anything. This time we have to hope the meds work wonders. So far Dzintars isn't declining further which is pretty good for now. 🤞🏻 by @zaledaji
These dudes! These absolute champs! My precious guys! I just love them to bits. I don't know if any of them will be around to celebrate their third birthday in November and I fear being too hopeful but so far nothing points to any serious health issues. 🤞🏻 by @zaledaji
Odin and his brothers are 2 years and 9 months old. Two more siblings live with @the_grumpy_rat. Sure, they have their health and mobility issues but they also have lust for life and a good appetite 🥰 by @zaledaji

No bells, no whistles, just a video of a happy Zibens doing a morning brux and boggle. I didn't film this for a reel specifically so it's horizontal, oops 🤷🏼‍♀️ by @zaledaji
Odin and Dzintars have really handsome hind legs. You gotta appreciate the beauty because they are literally just for the looks at this point. 😅 Both of them move around by front legs only with their butts just sliding along, and they can be surprisingly fast on a smooth floor! 😁 A bonus for me: their sploots look adorable, AND they are much more appreciative of shoulder scritches because they can't reach there themselves. More cuddles for meeee 😈 by @zaledaji
Zibens loves a good box. Who doesn't really? by @zaledaji
I wonder how the new pillowcases got the giant shredded holes 🫣 by @zaledaji
Assorted bits of life with Dzintars, Zibens and Odin. I love them to bits, they are wonderful creatures. They are also 2 years and 7 months old so every new day is a blessing. by @zaledaji
We went to a wedding, they got the delicious salad we brought home afterwards. Food equals love. by @zaledaji
