Last weekend we celebrated my dad’s 75th birthday with an intensive 3 day workshop where we built a hollow wooden surfboard at @grainsurfboards
It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and after my dad became passionate about woodworking about 5 years ago, it became a goal of mine to share the experience together.
I can’t say enough good things about the crew at Grain for their thoughtful engineering and laid back approach, also some of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet.
Thanks Dad for passing on the stoke of surfing to me many moons ago, it has had a really positive impact over the years.
