From almost 90kgs down 18kg and counting: My Journey from the Second Half of 2023 to the Beginning of 2024 🚀💪

Almost 2 years postpartum, I embarked on a transformative journey. As a coach, it’s important to share that we, too, have our own challenges and triumphs. We’re not just guiding; we’re living it.

I’ve faced the fears and overwhelming feelings that come with a significant weight goal, and I understand how daunting it can be. There is no phase of wellness that is easy, but with the right support and mindset, a positive and stable outcome is within reach.

Balancing self-care while being a mom of two and a wife hasn’t been without its struggles. It’s required moments of being selfish to ensure I can take care of myself, but it’s made me stronger and more empathetic. I am still a work in progress, but I am progressing, and that’s what truly matters.

Remember, you don’t have to do it alone. With the right support and determination, anything is possible. Keep pushing, stay focused, and let’s continue this journey together! 🌟✨

If you are FED UP, you best get FIRED UP!

Had the most amazing time instructing the #mondaymotivation event with @coach_janelleb . The energy was palpable.

Also loved that my family came out to support🥰. Thanks @zola_nene and @damienvanderwesthuizen for capturing everything🙏🏾

Every workout is not for everyone. And your favorite workout previously, might not be what your body needs right now in this phase of your journey. Sometimes something different, or shorter, or with less jumping, or without any weights, is what your body calls for and can handle right now.

Do what you can and what you can repeat. Consistency is the most important thing. by @zamonene4

So incredibly proud of these boys today. Undefeated in their group and only knocked out after a penalty shootout. They played with heart, discipline and belief from the first whistle to the last.

A huge thank you to Coach Sean, who was absolutely brilliant. He believed in these boys before their results gave anyone else a reason to notice them. He coached with composure, protected his team from the noise on the sidelines and trusted the players he was given.

Funny how quickly overlooked talent becomes worthy of commentary once it starts outperforming expectations.

Today proved that children do not need everyone to believe in them. Sometimes they just need one coach who genuinely does.

Well done, Coach Sean. You gave these boys far more than a good tournament. ⚽👏🏽 by @zamonene4

THE HARDEST PART ABOUT WINTER ISNT THE COLD!

It’s guessing the cold.

-You dress for the house.
-The car is boiling.
-The office has the aircon on.
-The sun comes out.

Now you’re carrying three layers wondering where it all went wrong.

Life works like that too.

Sometimes we keep preparing for problems that have already passed.

And before we know it, we’re carrying things we don’t actually need anymore. by @zamonene4
