17 & 22. That’s how old I was when I had you two. Neither time did I know what I was doing. But I knew I’d never make you feel alone, or unloved. I knew I’d never put anyone before you. I knew I’d never let anyone disrespect you, or hurt you and not hear my mouth about it 😬. I’ve always wanted to be a mom. The circumstances weren’t ideal initially,and at times it’s a lot harder than I have the bandwidth for. But you two make everything worth it. The most beautiful, intelligent, compassionate, and creative children anyone could ask for. Thank y’all for teaching me how to be a better person, a stronger woman, a better hustler, and an advocate for myself and for y’all. But mostly Thank you for making me a mom ❤️ by @zandi2247

For my oldest daughter’s 17th birthday breakfast I made their favorite “brown butter amaretto French toast” I had no idea that amaretto was just French vanilla and almond extract until one day I was baking a cake for thanksgiving and my spirit said “put that in there” and BAM! Chile I been amaretto-ing everything. This is pretty straight forward. I did add an extra egg just because I felt like it made it more French toasty if that makes sense. But it’s exactly what you see on screen I just browned my butter for a little razzel dazzle ✨

Funny story, I was in a band back in 2018 with two other amazing artists and one of them gave me the art of power, last year was my first time reading it. That’s why it looks so beat up. Not pictured is The Alchemist, I read it every year on audible.

#grwm to join a run club!

So while I was out on my walk Tuesday, the local run club was out and I looked them up and decided to go to the very next one which happened to be Saturday. Normally with things like this I’d “next week” it until I’m too afraid to go but I didn’t do that this time! It was such a great experience, everyone there was so kind and encouraging. I even took some pictures after ✨ I hear they have a flag football team 👀 idk, think wanna join! #75hard #75hardchallenge by @zandi2247
