Monday night was the first Work In Progress event at Haven. One of our OG members, @fbleroux hosted what might have been NOTL’s first ever demo day.

App developers, vibe coders, and founders shared what they’re building, got honest feedback, and left with more than they arrived with. Thanks to @silversmithbrewing for the icebreaker. @thegaragepizzacompany, courtesy of @zanneslaw, kept everyone fed.

No pitches, no agendas, no performance. Just a room full of smart people doing interesting work.

Handshake deals feel easy… until the stakes are high. In Ontario, a verbal/handshake agreement may be legally binding, but enforceability often comes down to proof, and courts don’t like guessing.
