Miss you every single day Dad! It's been 32 years today since cancer took you away from us when you were only 50. Way too young!! I can still smell the scent of the apple tobacco you burned in your pipe....I can still hear you singing about the moon or ice cream, I can still see your amazing smile in my dreams and I can still feel you holding my hand. ❤ Best dad ever. ❤️ I love you forever dad ❤

We don't have to be perfect to be real we just have to feel what we feel! 😎

On our way from our air bnb at Lake Champlain VT, we were headed to our new air bnb in Burke VT. We stopped at a rail trail on the way & I picked some wild flowers to put in a vase for the week at our new air bnb. When we got to the new air bnb they had beautiful wild flowers along the fence of their yard. They always cheer me up.

Is it a house or a home? This is our home.... empty nesters .... it's too big for 2 of us and seems so lonely now that our youngest has moved into his own apartment with friends. We miss him alot. I wish he could have stayed with us forever but we have to let them go. I have always had a child with me, living with me since I was 17 years old. That's when I had my daughter. Then 18 years later as she was moving into her apartment with her bf who is now her husband I had my son. Thanks to God. Blessings. And then 3 step children moved in too and then years later 2 step grandkids moved in for a while. We love kids, we loved having grandkids spend overnights.... now many of our grandkids are adults and the younger ones do not come over for playtime or sleepovers. Times have changed. I would give anything to have that again, having them laughing and making crafts and fairy houses, painting, riding bikes in the driveway, blowing bubbles, playing school or hair and makeup. We always had so much fun and so many great memories in this home. But now this home is big, with empty bedrooms, and no kids or grandkids to fill them.
Has this happened to you to?

Today would have been my mom & dad's 67th wedding Anniversary! ❤️ Happy Anniversary mom & dad!!!
They were married
Feb. 28th,1959;
the 1st picture is their wedding day. 💕 My dad was 17 & my mom 18. They were married for 32 years when he passed away on Sept 1st, 1991. 😪 They would have been married 67 years today if cancer had not stolen him away from us at such a young age. #Trueloveforever
