It’s not everyday you can tell people that you were a part of an event that raised over 2.4 million dollars for the Golisano Children’s Hospital at the University of Kentucky.

Huge thank you to @uk_danceblue & @ukysab for giving me the honor of djing at this year’s 24 hour marathon for “Rave Hour”.

Becoming a DJ has been something I’ve talked about since 2011, but I had only saved up enough money to buy my first controller a few years ago. From there, I was strictly a basement DJ until @dj_rane gave me a spot to improve and work beside him @twokeystavern .

Once Two Keys closed, @dj.lucidmusic , @bibs.musik , @djlexo_ky , and @jmparker2010 helped me expand into the rest of Lexington, as well as Louisville and gain experience with all crowds.

With countless hours spent practicing in my bedroom, and playing empty rooms, I’ve been able to build a skill and reputation I’m incredibly proud of through hard work.

I never thought that DJing would put me in a position to participate in such an impactful event like DanceBlue, and the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself.

I really appreciate the support from everyone over the last few years, and I’ve realized that you can positively impact so many lives just by doing what you love.

Thank you DanceBlue !! taken in Rupp Arena, University of Kentucky by @zanwarphotos
