Thank you @timesunion for featuring my journey and the work we’ve been doing. It has been an absolute honor to advocate for our community over the past few years.

As I wrap up high school and head off to college, the mission doesn’t stop. I can’t wait to keep fighting the good fight on an even bigger stage. Huge thank you to everyone who has supported, guided, and stood with me along the way, I couldn’t have done any of this without you.

AND THATS A WRAP FOLKS 👏This post is coming out way too late the DNC ‘26 meeting came and went as one of the most impactful meetings of my term. If you told me a year ago I’d be able to go to the DNC and pass a resolution on Dark Money and ICE which Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren would tweet about 🙏 I wouldn’t have believed you yet here we are.

We did it. After years of pushing for this, Eid is finally recognized with a day off in our district—no student should ever have to choose between their faith and their education.

Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way—students, families, and community members who spoke up and stood with us. I’m really proud to be ending my time in high school with this finally done.
