🌹🎟️ Cool, calm, and classic — meet Contestant No. 4, Jason Occean, a 2nd-year Pre-Nursing major from Delray Beach, FL. With a heart as golden as the lights on Gatsby’s dock, Jason’s grace and kindness shine brighter than any chandelier in West Egg.

Come see Jason bring elegance and heart to Greater Gatsby: The Mr. Rhomeo Scholarship Pageant on November 15th. 🥂🏛️

This summer, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a Preview Staffer and welcome over 10,000 new students to UF 🐊💙🧡

A year ago, during my Preview, the idea of becoming a staffer was so far from my mind. But after my session and when applications dropped, I challenged myself, and I’m happy I did.

To my Small Groups
Y’all made Day 1s so fun. I always tried to remember everyone’s name before we ended, and hearing how I helped you find your classes or build a schedule made it all worth it. You stayed engaged, kept me updated, and brought good energy to our small groups

To my Color Rotations
Day 2 always had a vibe. From hyping up the ballroom to walking around campus and grabbing lunch, it was always a good time. I saw y’all smile after advising and the excitement about your schedules, and I was able to finish the rainbow. It was hard to say goodbye at the end of Day 2, but I know you’re ready. And we’re always here if you ever need anything.

To my Cohort
Man… 55 of y’all and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Late-night convos, TikToks, skating, color rotations, pool cookout, we did that. Thank y’all for being the most supportive, hype, and loving group.

P-Luv forever 🫶🏾

To Pro-Staff
Thank you for constantly checking in, giving advice, and just seeing us. I appreciate you all, from small convos after Small Group 1 to end-of-day talks at the help desk and one-on-ones. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Thank you, @newufgators for letting me live and be part of the tradition.

My name is Jason Occean, I’m a Second Year Pre-Nursing Major from Delray Beach, Florida, and your 2025 Preview Staffer, and I am officially signing out 😌
