When even the city statues are checking in on your acting career, you know the hustle is real. Reflecting on the journey today. 20 auditions, 5 callbacks, and zero bookings so far this season. Between the daily grind and the challenge of making meaningful connections in NYC's fast-paced acting scene, it's easy to feel isolated. Yet, my passion for the craft keeps me locked in. I do this because I love it. Every single day. The hard work will pay off, but until then, I'm staying focused. 🎭✨ #actorlife #NYCactors #thegrind #persistence #trusttheprocess creativejourney actorzbeknelson by @zbek__

Abuse doesn't always wear the same face. We often talk about the signs of domestic violence through a specific lens, but emotional and verbal abuse can happen to anyone, regardless of gender. It's time to shed light on these hidden struggles and realize that strength is not defined by roles. #domesticviolenceawareness #domesticviolence by @zbek__

The horizon melts into the sea and the only sound is the rhythmic pulse of the water. This is loud enough for me. It strips away the noise and brings me home to my thoughts. The shadows stretch lean and long across the green trees and the ocean stands still, waiting. This is the world I need to capture for the next character. High contrast, warm tones, deep blacks, where the light reveals just enough but keeps the secrets hidden. My niche isn't in what's loud; it’s in what lingers in the silent spaces. I like it here. It is calm. by @zbek__

The caption is: "The best concepts are unforced; they just emerge when you leave room for the unexpected and fully trust the creative flow.

I wish Instagram didn't water down my video, sigh! Solo filming is a challenge. Hopefully I'll have a ride or die teammate soon. #solofilmmaker #indifilm #randomstranger by @zbek__
