Sunday Runday. Feels so good to be getting my running endurance back up, and it’s wild how directly affected my mental health is from these long runs. Truly body mind and spirit refreshed!

I’ve been listening to audio books on my runs and just finished “The Whole-Brain Child” today (highly recommend!!) Most of the time I’m listening to business growth and development books, but on long solo runs I’ve started to listen to parenting books and praying for our kids while I run, and it’s a really beautiful and necessary re-centering for myself as a dad.

Shout out to all the busy dads out there busting your butts to be the best version of yourself for your families and in your work… we’ve got this!! 💪🏼

Big Sur Forever ❤️

Last weekend we took our annual friends camping trip to Big Sur, and this trip has become one of our favorite weeks of the year every single year. This time we left Bodi home with my mom (angel Nana @mindybrose) and just took the older kids.

We camped among the majestic redwoods, shared meals with 19 adults and 21 kids, explored beaches and rivers and sang campfire songs every night. The kids ran wild and free, we belly laughed until we couldn’t breathe, we played games and roasted s’more’s and it was an absolute soul refresh.

We also packed up our campsite at midnight the last night because a wildfire started a few miles away (now the Big Sur Timber Fire) but luckily we didn’t have to evacuate afterall.. what a wild way to end! A few hours after we left the next morning they did indeed evacuate the area… 🙏🏼

Extra grateful for friends that are more like family and for this incredible place we soaked up for a few glorious days. Cant wait for next year!!!

WE LOVE YOU AMERICA! 🇺🇸

July 4th is up there with our favorite holidays… celebrating this incredible country we get to call home, sharing the day with friends and family, making memories and cherishing the home we share.

We’ve traveled the world, we’ve seen (and fallen in love with) so many different countries, cultures, people and customs… but there’s truly no place like home, and we’re so grateful and proud to be Americans. This country is filled with hope and opportunity, people from all over the world coming here to build a better life.

Every year we see more of our cities, our national parks and natural wonders, our diverse coastlines and meet people from all different states and territories that represent a melting pot of opportunity, and we fall more in love with the United States of America.

Our country isn’t perfect, but she’s ours. And the same spirit of freedom we were raised to know and love, we now impart to our children.. along with the sacred responsibility of protecting and bettering and working for necessary change WHILE celebrating this homeland we share.

This beautiful country may have a litany of flaws, but to us it still represents opportunity, freedom, the chance to live and build a life on your own terms, and we’ll forever champion the United States that is — and the even better United States that we believe can be.

(Also what’s not to love about cookouts, parties, endless deserts and fireworks?!?)

Swipe to see what we saw in 24 hours in London!

Things started a little rocky after I left my laptop (and 2 hard drives with months worth of work) on the plane, but @virginatlantic (and dear sweet Mary whom I owe my life) saved the day and got it back for me.

From there it was only upwards as we spent 24 hours exploring London, trying to stay warm (just missed the heat wave) and it was a chaotic and amazing start to our European adventures!

These family memories at @byblossainttropez 🥹

After 50+ countries, hundreds of flights around the globe, living in different countries and staying in incredible hotels around the world over the last decade, there are some places we can’t stop coming back to… and @byblossainttropez is one of them.

Tara and I first came to the iconic Byblos in 2019 before we had kids... then we returned with Nusa and baby Lido a few years ago, so coming back this summer with all 3 kids felt so special and nostalgic. So much was new and fresh (new restaurant concepts, new sunset deck bar, new design all around) but it still has that same charm, world-class service and attention to detail that have made the Byblos a beloved hotel for families, luxury travelers and celebrities alike for decades.

St. Tropez is famous for being a playground for the rich and famous, but it also holds that quaint, coastal charm that the French Riviera towns are known for… and we love coming back here!! taken in Hotel Byblos Saint-Tropez by @zdbrose

A few days in the south of France at @chateaucapitoul were so good for the soul!

This was our second time to the Languedoc region of southern France, and we fell even more in love with this incredible place. 3 years ago we stayed at @lescarrasses and @stpierredeserjac, the other 2 @domainedemeure properties.. so visiting Narbonne again with three kids this time was really special!

We spent our days wandering around the chateau and vineyards, swimming, exploring the local towns and soaking in that Mediterranean sun 🙌🏼

The Brose boys trip made it out of the group chat 🇩🇪

Just getting back from 6 days in Germany with my brother and dad, and shot it all on my new @fujifilmx_us X100VI.

I’ve been wanting something compact and more suited to capture our travels and every-day life than my full professional Canon setup… and something that doesn’t add to the never-ending editing load from my professional work. After seeing a few photographers posting about this camera, I decided to give it a try— and it is exactly what I was looking for.

I dialed in these “recipes” in-camera, spent the trip experimenting with different film simulation settings and tweaking the levels to get the look I wanted… and these are some of my favorites. These are all unedited, straight out of the camera. No edit flow, no tedious exports, just camera to phone via Bluetooth and here we are. I found myself so inspired to create with this new medium, and I’m excited to continue learning!
