this couple asked for their sets to be 60/40 english and chinese, and somewhere in there was a jacky cheung request.

enya and i can do some cantonese tunes, but when it really has to land, we hand it to queen ywenna 👑

repost because the previous one had way too much talking 😅

VOLUME WARNING: the drop is pretty loud

we reimagined how this banger from @googoodollsofficial would sound if it's... well, darker.

here's a short clip from a really fun wedding that we did about a week back. thank you to ben and @c.yangs for having the roseville trio at your celebration! absolutely lovely couple to work with 🌹

we never really know what kind of requests we’re gonna get at an event, but you can bet chyo a$s that we’re gonna try doing most of them. unless it’s an avenged sevenfold song… someone actually did ask for “hail to the king” at another wedding we did recently. that one… might be a little tricky 😅

drop us a dm to check for availability for your 2027 date!

despite what this song may suggest, thunder does NOT only happen when it's raining 😂

also, i might be in the minority here, but does anyone else prefer peter green's fleetwood mac? i still think he was one of the greatest guitarists of his generation.

in a previous episode, i mentioned that we should retire ed sheeran’s “perfect” for wedding march-ins.

well i didn’t want to leave y’all hanging so here’s another suggestion: “put your head on my shoulder.”

okay but honestly speaking, it’s been almost a year since the last time someone asked us to play “perfect” for their march-in. in fact, more often than not, they ask us what we think they should march in to. i’m an old soul, so i often recommend older soul music or classics from the 50s-80s. you know, the golden age for love songs. my favorite request was "never gonna give you up" by rick astley.

i'm curious: what are some of the most interesting wedding march-ins y'all have seen?

ANYWAYS, looking for a live band for your wedding? drop us a dm to check our availability 🌹

Third time’s the charm 🎶! Hosted and sang for the Welcome Dinner of the 17th Co-operation Forum on 25 Aug, which brought together international delegates with one goal: keeping the Straits of Malacca and Singapore free, safe and clean for all who sail through. This was the third time our band was invited back by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), this season’s host. After a long day of discussions, the delegates were clearly ready to unwind, singing along and even joining us on stage!

Our first two shows with MPA were for the Aids to Navigation Fund Committee meetings in 2025 and early 2026. This was our first time playing for the Co-operation Forum itself, another pillar of the Co-operative Mechanism between the littoral states of Indonesia, Malaysia & Singapore.

The dinner itself didn’t make the news, but the forum did. 300+ delegates from 125+ countries were there for the two-day event. With the world watching maritime chokepoints closely, it was a timely reminder that we can’t take open sea lanes and clean waterways for granted. They’re the result of sustained co-operation between like-minded nations. Grateful this mechanism exists, and grateful to have played a small part in the room where that work happens! 🌊⚓️

people ask us all the time whether we can do chinese songs... well, it's a yes-and-no kind of answer. we like doing the classics, but if you're looking for a band that can play your favourite douyin songs, we're probably not your cup of tea. HOWEVER, we'd be happy to recommend our friends that can pull off that style of music!

also, this is might be the first and last time we post a clip of a chinese song because we're self-conscious about our pronunciation 😂 well, maybe @nyalimusic isn't, but i definitely am.

p.s. @fudgedaisy i hope you're happy.
