ZEAD Golden T Marco Azara

Body: Red Alder bookmatched
Neck: Rosewood w/ trussrod dual action
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Electronics: Zead Custom T. Alnico 5 w/ Killswitch
Hardware: @vega_trem @giacomo_castellano 🙏

New ATLAS180 demo 🤟! This time boosted with the mighty Night Terror pedal from @spookyvibesfx . Also we got help from @luca_vi__ to make this demo really chugging. Thanks a ton! What you hear is the Night Terror going into the second channel of the ATLAS180 and then in our new reactive Loadbox + IRs. We love it! What do you guys think? Let uns know 💜🔥... #driftwoodamps #guitargear #tubeamps #heavyriff #metalmusic by @zead_lab

𝑷𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑴𝑷 𝑺𝑯𝑶𝑶𝑻𝑶𝑼𝑻

I’ve been wanting to do this test for a while and see how different preamps compare to the same poweramp.
I have used the @driftwood_amplifiers purple nightmare preamp and heavy hatchet as well as @lichtlaermaudio ‘s Ragnarök preamp and Gehenna.

Since context is the key:
Everything you hear is going through my randall thrasher poweramp (120 Watt with 4 6L6 tubes) and I am using the same IR.

What I found interesting, is that the two transistor poweramps had a different yet similar mid bump in the low mids while the tube preamps had an overall rounder and saturated sound (and more lowend!)

All four preamps are incredible and depending on how you combine them with various poweramps/cabs setup you are able to get even more out of it.

A huge thank you to both brands to let me realize these tests and sending over their amazing products 🫶🏻

For those who missed it, you can check out my poweramp shootout I have done a while back on my page!

Also it’s one year since I picked up my custom SKMK6 by @zead_lab 🖤🦈

This small amp by @rutherberg.amps is an absolute beast. 2 channels, a really aggressive distortion and an amazing, pedalfriendly clean channel, a sick built in boost with two modes, small, compact and LOUD!

I am no expert when it comes to the tecnical side of amps, but this one suprised me a lot. And if you are looking to go even crazier with specs then you should test the 30 watts version… (need one cough cough).

I want to thank Jeoffray and @loris_caseau for the hospitaity and the opportunity to check out so much cool stuff and for helping me film this snippet!

If you are wondering, the song is by my band @followthehunt.band

Also special mention goes like always to @zead_lab for making my guitar number 1 🫶🏻🖤

Stay tuned cause I am preparing some more demos with cool products 😉
