Congratulations to: MICK

Employee of the Month — Again.

After an exhaustive selection process involving every single employee at Zedd Tile, management is proud to announce that Mick has once again taken out the prestigious Employee of the Month award.

The competition was fierce. The shortlist was extensive. But after carefully reviewing the performance of all one staff member, there could only be one winner.

Mick continues to demonstrate an unreasonable level of hard work, dedication, craftsmanship and commitment to making things level, straight and generally bloody beautiful. He consistently arrives at work, does the work, complains about the work, finishes the work, invoices the work, then wonders why the bloke in charge keeps booking more work.

His commitment to Zedd Tile is particularly impressive considering he receives almost no encouragement from management — apart from his boss constantly reminding him that he's lucky to work for such an exceptionally talented, handsome and inspirational leader.

And speaking of management, Mick would personally like to recognise his boss, Mick, whose leadership has been nothing short of outstanding. His ability to motivate his employee through coffee, unreasonable expectations and the occasional "we'll knock this one over early" deserves recognition of its own.

When asked about receiving the award, Mick said:
“It's an incredible honour. I'd like to thank my boss for believing in me. He's demanding, occasionally difficult and arguably a bit of a prick — but you can't deny the bloke knows how to run a tiling company.”
