The Ontario County Court House (1858) in the beautiful Finger Lakes town of Canandaigua, New York. Ontario County doesn't actually border on Lake Ontario.

According to Natural Resources Canada, the name "Ontario" comes from a Haudenosaunee word meaning "sparkling water".

Picture taken in 2023.
