Hello it's been a while, I've been so tight with some ongoing task, here's my new project. Watch to enjoy how we solve problems with designs. THE PROBLEM The Potters House Music Workshop needed a strong, unified brand identity that could communicate the purpose of the event, create a memorable visual experience, and maintain consistency across promotional materials, event branding, and digital platforms. The challenge was to bring together the workshop's music, ministry, facilitators, and event experience into a cohesive visual system that would engage the audience before, during, and after the event. THE SOLUTION I developed a comprehensive event brand identity and visual communication system that transformed the workshop into a recognizable and consistent brand experience. My design solutions included: Brand Identity Conceptualization: Developed the creative direction and visual identity for the workshop. Artist Profiles: Designed engaging profiles to introduce the featured artists and facilitators. Event Quote Recaps: Created branded social media designs to capture and extend the impact of the workshop. Event Brand Essentials: Designed branded stand mockups, banners, clothing, caps, and tote bags. Screen Motion Design: Created motion graphics for the event's digital screen experience. The Outcome: A cohesive event identity that extended beyond the flyer, connecting the workshop's promotional materials, physical branding, and digital experience through a consistent visual language. AI gave me a starting point. I gave the event a visual identity. The first design was AI-generated, but it lacked the fundamentals—weak hierarchy, poor balance, inconsistent typography, and it simply wasn’t appealing enough. So I redesigned the entire visual system. From the main event flyer → guest/ministry designs → countdown series → church screen visuals. Everything was built to feel like one event, one identity, one experience. That’s what good church design should do. Not just announce the program. Build anticipation for it. A few days ago, a client reached out to me on WhatsApp with an urgent request: "I need a LinkedIn milestone flyer, and I need it delivered within 5 hours." As always, I started exploring concepts. To speed up my creative process, I generated a few ideas with AI. They looked good, but something was missing. The designs didn't capture the premium feel, personality, and impact I wanted for the client's achievement. So, I went back to the drawing board. I took inspiration from the AI concepts, but redesigned everything from scratch—carefully choosing the typography, composition, lighting, colors, profile mockup, and visual effects to create a flyer that truly celebrated the client's 12K LinkedIn milestone. Within the 5-hour deadline, the final design was delivered, and the client loved it. AI can accelerate the creative process, but it doesn't replace a designer's eye.
