P-EAR-S proudly thanks the artists who trust our In-Ear Monitors through this portrait series — celebrating the voices, energy, and creativity that inspire us every day.

A native of Fribourg, Switzerland, Jay (aka Zeela) is a musician, producer, and sound engineer active on numerous stages in Switzerland and internationally. As the drummer for the Femme Fatale project, with which he has performed at numerous shows and festivals, he also collaborates with Mia Oud, Stevans, Mo’Mot, and Silance.

Alongside his artistic work, he serves as front-of-house engineer for Stress and has also worked as a backliner and stage manager for Kamasi Washington. Between studio sessions, tours, and live shows, Jay has developed a sound approach that is precise, modern, and deeply stage-oriented.
