After losing 100 pounds, the scale barely moved for more than a year. It would’ve been easy to accept that maybe my body was just done.

But I wasn’t.

Instead of giving up, I started asking a different question:

“What needs to change?”

That question changed everything.

With guidance from my provider, support from my F45 coach, and an accountability partner who never let me quit on myself, I finally broke through the plateau.

For the first time in over 20 years, I’m at a weight I haven’t seen since my early 20s!

Am I at my goal? Not even close.

Today isn’t about reaching the finish line. It’s about proving to myself that I wasn’t done yet. And honestly…I’m really proud of that. 💪🏼 by @zefannevik

This morning my trainer told me to lower my plank.

I looked her dead in the eyes and said…

“NO”

Not “ugh”
Not a sigh.

Just…NO.

I definitely make my trainer earn her paycheck. 😂

For a long time, I thought losing weight was about how I’d look.

I was wrong.

The biggest change wasn’t the number on the scale.

It was getting my life back.

I used to be tired all the time. Everything felt harder than it should. Cleaning the house felt overwhelming. Simple tasks left me needing to sit down and rest. I had headaches constantly and spent so much of my life feeling physically uncomfortable.

Today, I have energy.

Not just energy to work out.

Energy to live.

I want to hike. Travel. Create. Build things. Chase ideas. Set goals. Dream bigger dreams.

And maybe the most surprising part of all…

I’m finally proving to myself that I can finish something.

For most of my life, I struggled to stick with goals long enough to see real results. This is one of the first times I’ve stayed the course long enough to completely change the direction of my life.

I’ve lost over 100 pounds so far.

But this isn’t a before-and-after post.

It’s a celebrate-the-middle post.

Because the woman on the left deserved kindness.

The woman on the right deserves credit.

And the future version of me deserves for me to keep going.

So that’s exactly what I’m going to do. by @zefannevik

I ordered 18 dresses for an event.

Returned all 18.

Got $684.35 back.

The dress I wore was already hanging in my closet the whole time.

Over 100 pounds down and still not at my goal.

The old me would’ve said “maybe next summer.”

But I’m done putting life on hold for a future version of myself.

I don’t need to be finished to start living.

Life is happening now. Not after you lose the weight. by @zefannevik
