The wait is finally over. Here's the complete transformation of our very own Setara Haris's LinkedIn profile. She walked in with one line, "I need a makeover," and one inspiration color. She's the first Pakistani woman working in her specific niche. So before any visuals, I suggested we start from her actual niche keywords, so the look would not just be pretty, it would get found. Maryam handled strategy and positioning. I built the entire visual identity, new color palette, banner, profile picture direction, and every featured image, all from scratch. I’m excited to share our LinkedIn Profile Optimization project for Iqra Rajpoot, completed in collaboration with Maryam Fatima. At High Five Gems, we worked on more than improving the profile design. We focused on positioning, clarity, strategy, and conversion. Maryam handled the profile audit, niche positioning, strategic headline, About section, Featured section, Services, Skills, Experience, content funnel, content pillars, comment strategy, and outreach strategy. My professional profile won't tell you much about me. You may know me as a Digital Marketing Specialist focused on marketing audits and Content Strategy. You may see what I do. But you probably don't know much about how I am as a person. So, here are five things about me that don't usually make it to LinkedIn. 1. I really, really like helping people. Even when it's something small. If I know something that can help someone, I'll share it. If I can make something easier for them, I'll try. Sometimes it's just listening. I don't need a big reason to help someone. If I can be useful, I like being useful. 2. I have this habit of figuring things out myself. When I don't know something, I want to try it myself before asking someone else. I'll search for it. I'll experiment. I'll probably get it wrong once or twice. Then I'll try again. And when I finally get it, there's a different kind of satisfaction in knowing: “I figured this one out myself.” I don't need someone to constantly tell me that I'm doing the right thing before I start. 3. I love romanticizing my life. And honestly, I think we all should do it a little more. Not because life is always beautiful. It isn't. But because there is beauty in ordinary days if you actually stop to notice it. A quiet morning. A cup of tea. A new idea. A small win. A moment where you suddenly realise, “I'm actually getting somewhere.” I like those moments. I like making a little story out of them. 4. I'm not doing this just to say I have a career. Of course I want financial independence. But there's another reason that's much more personal. I want to test myself. I want to know what happens when I really challenge myself. How much can I learn? What can I create? What am I capable of if I don't give up too quickly? Maybe that's one of the biggest reasons I'm still here. I'm curious about the answer. 5. I genuinely believe your life is your canvas. And you don't have to paint it exactly the way everyone else expects you to. I believe in manifestation. I like hearing different perspectives and thinking about what I can learn from every experience. 3. 𝐈 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤. 𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐓. 😂 Sometimes one design gets me thinking about ten different ways to make the message clearer. I've learned to turn some of that overthinking into attention to detail. 4. 𝐈'𝐦 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞. I share my work, learning, ideas, and experiences online, but I don't share everything about my personal life. Personal branding doesn't mean showing everything. 5. 𝐈'𝐦 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫. 🎶 When I'm stressed, I sometimes hum a naat or a song. It helps me reset and get back to myself. 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 Before becoming a designer, I spent 7 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. Mathematics. English. Social Studies. Pakistan Studies. Teaching taught me how to simplify complex ideas and communicate clearly. Years later, I realized those lessons followed me into design. When I entered the digital world, I became a student again. I learned freelancing from 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐈𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐧 and 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫. I learned about AI and automation through the content and sessions of 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧, 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚. And I connected with many of them through 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚, who played an important role in my LinkedIn journey. Writing ایک ہاؤس وائف سے اپنی الگ پہچان بنانے تک کا سفر! ❤️ | میری کہانی، میری زبانی کل میں نے ایک پوسٹ پڑھی، جس میں ایک ماں اپنی بیٹی کے لیے کہہ رہی تھیں کہ لڑکیوں کو شروع ہی سے خودمختار ہونا چاہیے، انہیں اپنی صلاحیتوں کو پہچاننا چاہیے، نئی مہارتیں سیکھنی چاہئیں اور اپنی ایک الگ شناخت بنانی چاہیے، تاکہ شادی کے بعد وہ اپنی ذات کو مکمل طور پر نظر انداز نہ کر دیں۔ اس پوسٹ کو پڑھ کر میں کافی دیر تک سوچتی رہی، کیونکہ کہیں نہ کہیں یہ بات میری اپنی زندگی سے بھی جڑی ہوئی تھی۔ آج میں آپ کو اپنی کہانی سنانا چاہتی ہوں۔ ایک ایسی کہانی جس میں گھر، بچے، ذمہ داریاں، خواب، سیکھنے کا جذبہ، ناکامیاں اور پھر آہستہ آہستہ اپنی ایک الگ پہچان بنانے کی کوشش شامل ہے۔ میں ایک ہاؤس وائف ہوں، دو بیٹیوں کی ماں ہوں اور ایک ایسی عورت ہوں جس نے ہمیشہ اپنے لیے کچھ کرنے کا خواب دیکھا تھا۔ شادی سے پہلے میرے ذہن میں بھی ایک کارپوریٹ جاب کرنے، کسی اچھی کمپنی میں کام کرنے اور اپنی پروفیشنل زندگی بنانے کے خواب تھے۔ میں بھی چاہتی تھی کہ میری اپنی ایک شناخت ہو، لوگ مجھے میرے کام سے جانیں اور میں بھی اپنی صلاحیتوں کو عملی طور پر استعمال کر سکوں۔ لیکن شادی کے بعد زندگی کا انداز بدل جاتا ہے۔ گھر کی ذمہ داریاں، بچوں کی پرورش، خاندان اور روزمرہ کے کاموں میں وقت گزرنے کا احساس ہی نہیں ہوتا۔ خاص طور پر جب آپ چھوٹے بچوں کی ماں ہوں تو اپنے لیے وقت نکالنا بھی ایک بڑی کامیابی محسوس ہوتا ہے۔ ایسے میں باہر جا کر جاب کرنا میرے لیے آسان نہیں تھا۔ گھر اور بچوں کو سنبھالتے ہوئے روزانہ سفر کرنا، ٹریفک کا سامنا کرنا اور مقررہ اوقات میں کسی دفتر میں موجود رہنا میرے لیے ایک بڑا چیلنج تھا۔ لیکن میری خوش قسمتی تھی کہ میرے شوہر نے ہمیشہ مجھے آگے بڑھنے کا موقع دیا۔ انہوں نے مجھ سے کہا کہ اگر میں گھر میں رہتے ہوئے کوئی کام کرنا چاہتی ہوں، نئی اسکلز سیکھنا چاہتی ہوں یا اپنی صلاحیتوں کو بہتر بنانا چاہتی ہوں تو مجھے ان کی مکمل سپورٹ حاصل ہے۔ یہ میرے لیے صرف ایک اجازت نہیں تھی بلکہ ایک ایسا موقع تھا جس نے مجھے اپنے خوابوں کی طرف دوبارہ دیکھنے کا حوصلہ دیا۔ میں نے سوچا کہ اگر میں فی الحال باہر جا کر کام نہیں کر سکتی تو کیوں نہ آن لائن کام کے ذریعے اپنی ایک الگ شناخت بنانے کی کوشش کروں؟ اور یوں 2025 میں میرے پروفیشنل سفر کا آغاز SEO Content Writing سے ہوا۔ میں نے SEO Content Writing سیکھنا شروع کی، اس کے ساتھ سوشل میڈیا مینجمنٹ اور Fiverr Freelancing کے کورسز بھی کیے۔ لیکن میں صرف کورسز مکمل کرنے تک محدود نہیں رہنا چاہتی تھی۔ میں چا taken in Karachi کراچی by @zehra_visuals

I didn't start as a Co-Founder. I started by learning. In December 2025, I completed my DigiSkills certifications in Freelancing, E-Commerce Management, Graphic Designing, and Creative Writing. Then I connected with Maryam on LinkedIn. In January 2026, I started the 30 Days Posting Challenge Led by Charlie Hills and Fatima Khan with Maryam, Setara, Eesha, and Bethel. We wanted to stay consistent, keep learning, and keep showing up. But we also had a bigger dream. To build our own agency. Today, we're no longer challenge participants. We're business partners at High Five Gems. I'm working as a Co-Founder, AI Visual Design & Prompt Engineer, and Brand Creative Strategist. I lead AI visual design and brand creative strategy, turning strategy into visuals people see and remember. Looking back, I'm grateful I kept learning and showing up. I spent 7 years teaching before stepping into the digital world. Now I’m building my career in graphic design, brand identity, and LinkedIn branding. It doesn’t look exactly how I imagined it. Client inquiries are slower than I’d like. My numbers fluctuate. And some days, I question whether I’m doing enough. But I’m still learning, creating, and getting clearer about the work I want to do. How come I never came across this before?! A 2026 study in the 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 explored how text size and placement affect social media engagement. One finding stood out to me. Oversized, centrally placed text on a dynamic image might make a post less appealing. This is why I believe social media design needs balance. A clear headline. Readable text. Enough breathing space.
