🪨 Brucke is a nature-inspired display typeface.

Inspired by stone, marble, and brick, Brucke balances geometric structure with the inherent regularity of natural materials. Its serif design echoes the form of stacked bricks—rectangular and grounded—bringing a sense of stability and quiet strength.

Its rugged details and robust letterforms create a sense of tactility and authenticity.

✦ 1,000+ glyphs
✦ Stylistic alternates
✦ Extended Latin support
✦ Vietnamese support
✦ Arrows and symbols

Shout out to @paulinefourest and @blazetype for the guidance.
Stay tuned!🤟

From the hand-painted signage of Tainan to the city’s deep-rooted craft traditions, designer Eunice Su (@zekutype) draws inspiration from the vernacular lettering and artisans around her.

Living amongst ceramics, lantern-making, and traditional crafts fostered her sensitivity to form, material, and texture — a sensibility that flows into her own type design.
