POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

zelam returns to Intrinsik with Red Roses, following his appearance alongside Sandro on the AB001 release at the end of August.

The French producer folds jungle rhythms into wide, patient ambient space. The breaks give it movement, but nothing feels rushed, and every element has room to breathe. Each track is remarkably assured in how it’s put together, and we’re glad to be the ones putting it out.

We’re excited to introduce our new A-side / B-side catalog featuring standout work by @nssandro & @zelam.audio

Two distinct approaches to techno, packaged as one record. Each side stands on its own, and the contrast makes these a lot of fun.

FOCUS ARTIST NODEVA002 - 👁️ zelam 👁️

Zelam presents ‘Dry Flowers’. A track tailored for the dancefloor where he explores the rawest side of his music, oscillating between tension and moments of calm without ever compromising on the groove.

For Zelam, music is a means of expression that is both abstract and clear in its intent. His quest is one of sharing: he feels he belongs when he manages to create a collective emotion during a successful party. His ambition is to contribute to the development of culture, both through his production and by organizing multidisciplinary events.

His inspirations are drawn from his own experience as a club goer. Influenced by the French mental and hypnotic scene, he seeks to develop a unique sound design, playing with ‘noise’ textures to make his techno organic.

« The vocal chop is originally a whisper sample dropped into a sampler, then played by Ableton’s ML-185 sequencer in random mode. I added a spectral resonator to it to create a result completely different from the baseline sample. » by @zelam.audio
