Closing another week of rehearsals for *Manon*. What an intense, challenging and deeply rewarding process it has been ❤️ #genteeeee!!!
The more we dive into this ballet, the more I’m struck by the brilliance of the relationships between the characters… There are so many unspoken conversations happening on stage, expressed entirely through intention, movement and the extraordinary intensity of the music.

Every rehearsal reveals another layer of Kenneth MacMillan’s genius. The way he translates the complexity of human emotions into movement, the depth of his storytelling and how carefully every detail has been considered… The more we discover, the more I understand why *Manon* remains one of the great masterpieces of 20th-century ballet.

This process is changing the way I approach dance, the way I think as a ballerina and the way I experience and express emotions through movement.
It’s incredible to immerse myself in something so rich. by @zenaidayanowsky

Moments from THE LAST PAS DE DEUX with @reececlarke_ and @zenaidayanowsky 🤍

The more I discover about this ballet, the more I realise how much there is still to learn… Not just the steps, but the musicality, the choreographic structure, the characters and all the little details that bring the story to life.
It is fascinating how everything is so carefully connected, and how much more you begin to understand as you spend time with the work. It’s a beautiful reminder that, even after all these years of dancing, there is still so much to discover, explore and grow from. Very excited for this debut! ❤️

Obsessed by this rocks. Slate in a 100 forms and quartz. When you think of the volcanic eruptions this earth has had and the wonders it's left for us to admire. The scones are my doing though...

What an honour to be part of this incredible team of teachers at @royalballetschool 🤍✨

A huge bravo to the graduating students, who worked so hard throughout the year and shone so beautifully in their final performance. 🌟🌟

And a massive bravo to @iainmackaycoach for curating such a beautiful evening and your constant encouragement and to my partners in crime @kevinemerton and @jessica.clarke.524 🤍

Your loyalty, love, and dedication to the students and to our art form are truly unbreakable. What a privilege to share this journey with you both.

Heading to the performances at @hollandparkopera, and the excitement is definitely in the air! ✨🩰

These final performances @operahollandpark with the last one @royalballetandopera mark the end of an incredible journey for the pre-professional year 2026. It’s been a privilege to watch these talented artists work so hard to reach this level. Saying goodbye to these young dancers, won’t be easy, but I’m immensely proud of every one of them as they step into their next exciting chapter.

Here’s to unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and bright futures ahead. Break a leg, everyone! ❤️

A special thank you to my wonderful partners in crime Jessica Clarke and @kevinemerton
