When it comes to live performances I can be a bit jaded but I have NEVER seen an @ericgalesband show where I was not moved emotionally. Eric is a freak of nature with this monumental gift and it looks so effortless and so joyous and so irreverent. On top of that, he's got the band that can hang with him - they are ridiculous!!! Lady G and Nick are the groove machine and they are the constant backbone for every EG show I've seen. Man, I'm in fan boy mode but I can't help it. Eric and LaDonna it was so great to see you and thank you for your hospitality. I wish we had more time to catch up. And congratulations again on the 2 Grammys!!! taken in Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs by @zenergyent

City Winery NYC presents The Soul Experience Ft. Corey Glover (Of Living Colour) live on Friday, August 8th at 7:30 pm

Best known as the lead singer of the legendary multiple Grammy winning award band Living Colour, Corey Glover has embarked on a new project: The Soul Experience featuring Corey Glover. Named by Billboard Magazine as one of the 50 greatest lead singers of all time, this new ensemble takes Glover back to his beginning: “This music is the foundation of my gift. If it wasn’t for listening and singing along to this music in my parents car, I would’ve had no idea I could do this. “ says Corey. He adds “It’s the music we all grew up on.”

Backed by a revolving cast of outstanding musicians who have played with R&B legends including Sam Moore, Mavis Staples, Bette Levette , Solomon Burke, Sue Foley and the Rascals, Glover unleashes his multi faceted vocal skills on variety of old school soul classics - some familiar and others more obscure - as well as songs from his solo albums and Living Colour. “We have enough to be angry and sad about, “says Corey, “how about having a good time.”
