Coming out of the restorative stillness of Winter, it is time to release the heavier layers and prepare to enjoy the vibrant warmer seasons ahead.

Winter can draw us inward to conserve our energy, leaving us feeling stiff, dense and a little compressed.

Spring is our invitation to reset, release and renew.

A wellness pit stop, Spring treatments assist in clearing congestion, releasing tension and blockages, and restoring the body, mind and face. Lymphatic drainage, guided by the oriental diagnostic process, addresses each individual need — one professional, therapeutic 90-minute session, returning you to that calm, uplifted state of Zen.

And icing on the cake.

Totally depuffed, cheekbones returning, a defined jawline, a smooth, long neckline, shoulders away from the ears. Nose decongested, dark circles under eyes lightening, skin plump yet taut, clear and glowing. All ready for your spring dress silhouette, for events, for memorable camera moments.

Transform through your evolving face.

Ready to step into Spring, lighter and renewed.

Looking forward to welcoming you for your deeply restorative holiday ✨ by @zenfacial

With the change of season, some of us may already be feeling it — the wind, a sense of unsettledness, low energy, a little drained. As Winter approaches, it is an important time to regulate and support our nervous system, before it wears us out and we find ourselves fighting not to get sick.

And we may also start to see it on our face — congestion, puffiness, a heaviness around the eyes, dark circles, and lines across the forehead. The face can remind us it is time for self care, and nurturing.

As we look after ourselves, once we are back in balance, all of these are reversible — and we can restore that glowing, radiant smile again.

Please don’t wait until it gets to us.

By being proactive now, we can be on top of our health before the season takes hold — feeling grounded, centred, sleeping better, with sustainable energy to carry us through. And with accumulative treatments, our immune system gets the support it needs too. Our mum clients tell us they no longer get sick — or they bounce back so much faster — even when the little ones bring the germs home from school.

To welcome the colder season, the healing blends of essential oils are ready to accompany your Winter days.

Hope all is well with you, and looking forward to welcoming you for your wellness pit stop in Darling Point. The sun-drenched treatment room is cosy with glorious light and tranquil energy.

With warmth 💙 by @zenfacial

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Autumn weather.

This transitional season, in Oriental medicine, is a time to clear congestion and stagnation. You may notice puffiness, dull or dry (even itchy) skin, tightness through the neck, jaw, and shoulders, as well as sinus and digestive changes reflecting the Large Intestine pathway. The Metal element can also bring up old emotions, inviting us to process rather than suppress.

Therapeutic lymphatic drainage is most effective when combined with fascia release. By restoring the biomechanical environment around the lymphatic system, we clear the pathways so fluid can move more efficiently.

Mental and emotional stress can become embedded in fascia. Releasing this helps reset the body’s holding patterns, supporting both physical restoration and nervous system regulation.

As daylight saving ends and days become shorter, the body adjusts its circadian rhythm. Even a one-hour shift can affect sleep, mood, energy, and physical tension. At the same time, immune demand increases while lymphatic flow tends to slow.

Autumn treatments are particularly rewarding. As stagnation clears, skin appears more plump, taut, and translucent, with visible changes through the face line, neck, and shoulders. Energy feels recharged, with a deeper sense of calm and alignment.

Preventative care sits at the heart of Oriental medicine. Supporting the lymphatic system strengthens our defence, helps us respond more effectively, and recover efficiently—so we spend less time unwell, and more time feeling well.

I look forward to welcoming you for your reset and recharge Autumn treatment. When are you able to make time to invest in your wellbeing?

Remember how WELL you can feel. When we are well, everything flows—and we have more to share with our loved ones and with the world.

Wishing you a beautiful break ✨ sending much love 💗 by @zenfacial

Happy 2026 from Darling Point!

Zen Facial has relocated to Darling Point, so grateful to be in this beautiful tranquil water front space. The treatment invites you to an even deeper restorative state…. Very delighted to share, that my guests so far have been enjoying this magical spot to take quality time for themselves to Reset and Renew, Relax and Rejuvenate, Release and Recharge…!

I hope you had a lovely festive break and are returning to the year with renewed energy (and looking forward to the long weekend!)

January is a wonderful time to take time for ourselves, setting clear intentions, reflecting our true values, from the heart. As the Year of the Snake comes to an end, we are invited to shed the last layers — releasing what no longer serves us, old patterns, emotions, and ways of holding ourselves — and create space to step forward into the Year of the Fire Horse.

The Fire Horse is about feeling alive — momentum that comes from clarity — and it rewards coherent flow. It is important that our nervous system is centred and regulated, and that we are anchored in our heart’s values, allowing energy to flow. Abundance in alignment, the energy of courage in motion.

Wishing you a beautiful year ahead, and I look forward to supporting your journey through our evolving face, as our face invites us to nourish our soul ✨

Looking forward to welcoming you in Darling Point ✨✨✨

✨ Essential Oils for Conception — The Natural Way ✨

If you’re trying to fall pregnant, start with what touches your skin. 💧

Perfumes often contain hormone disruptors that can interfere with your body’s natural balance.

I’ve swapped mine for this divine essential oil blend created by my beautiful friend Fumi from Zen Facial — and it’s pure magic. 🌿

Small changes. Big impact. Start your fertility journey with clean choices. 💕
💌 Comment “OIL” and I’ll share my favourite fertility-safe swaps.

✨Happy Anniversary Zen Facial 22 years! ✨

22 years ago, an article in Body + Soul (thank you Kris McIntyer for the wonderful feature) opened my path as a health practitioner specialising in women’s health and stress management. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of looking after the wellbeing journeys of many beautiful souls — through their evolving face.

I am so grateful to have studied profound therapeutic modalities, grounded in Oriental medicine, combined with complementary medicine, and enriched by my background in mental health. Having faced my own health challenges from childhood, and later in the busy corporate world, I came to believe that wellbeing must be treated as a whole. Preventative medicine and the joys of wellbeing became my life’s path.

And I am so happy that I made it into a facial. The face does not lie — it is the roadmap of our wellbeing: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

22 years ago, my first brochure asked: “How would you like to look and feel?” Every face tells a million stories. That appreciation remains at the heart of Zen Facial today. Our face holds so much.

Through treatments, years of stress are released, masks peel away layer by layer, and the authentic self begins to shine through. I’ve witnessed magical moments as clients rediscover their timeless, authentic beauty — and the joy of living WELL, aligned within and with their purpose.

I am so grateful for the inspiration you’ve given me, igniting my spark to keep studying, growing, and evolving Zen Facial treatment each year. I look forward to sharing even more in the years to come.

So grateful to welcome today. Thank you for being part of this journey. 💫 by @zenfacial
